In 1994, Dr. Michael A. Wooten received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the prestigious Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, graduating with Honors. In addition, Dr. Wooten is certified in various advanced accreditations, including Kinesiotape Specialist, Kinesio Movement Specialist, IASTM specialist, as well as advanced muscle integration techniques. Dr. Wooten participated in five varsity sports during college and is still active in tennis and volleyball and competes at the National level in both sports. In 1984 and 1985, he won the Collegiate Superstars Competition. This allowed him to compete with professional athletes in the Bahamas, where he won the competition in 1985. His interests in sports has led him to specialize in sports injuries and he is currently working with members of the United States Ski team, ATP and WTA professional tennis tours, members of the AVP professional beach volleyball association, and local and National collegiate athletes. He also treats members of the US Equestrian Team - both human and equine. He enjoys his work in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions and health issues in his Long Beach practice.
